I got a call today from +44 1993 665825, it was an Asian woman on the line. When I mentioned I wasn’t familiar with their business she just ended the call straight away. Quite weird really.

Not sure if it’s safe or not, but I answered and there was nothing on the line. Just some beeping and then they cut off. Feels like one of those scams trying to record your voice or something.

Got a call from this number the other day, with someone pretending to be from O2. They said O2 were losing a lot of customers and offered me some kind of discount on my bill to keep me on board. Later, I received a text saying: "Here’s your code. Enter it to finish setting up your O2 account. If this wasn’t you, please get in touch with O2." When I asked the caller to verify my name, they acted like they were checking their system and then just said, "Your name is a waste of my time." The call ended immediately after that.

Looks like one of those dodgy scams. They were talking about a 45% discount on my phone bill, but honestly, if you get a call from them, don't stress too much - you probably can't make out most of what they're trying to say anyway!
