I picked up the phone and at first, I could hear some voices chatting in a language I didn’t recognise. Then a woman came on and said she was calling from Curry’s PC World. I told her I hadn’t purchased anything from them and quickly ended the call. I’m aware they’ve stopped using the PC World name and now just go by Curry’s. On top of that, I keep getting dodgy emails claiming I’ve won a prize from them.

Some person saying they were Vodafone trying to give me 40% off my contract and wanted to know what phone I had. I just told them it was a Noddle F off. They ended the call straight away.

Calling back costs 16p or 23p plus sometimes they add a setup fee, so I’d say it’s better not to ring them back. Heard it’s some sort of EE scam going around.
