Someone rang claiming they worked for a legit phone company, asked how they got my number and said it was because my number was on a standard list - which is rubbish!! It's actually my mobile, not listed anywhere. These lot are really persistent, calling my mobile and landline nonstop. I’m convinced they’re not even in the UK and it’s definitely a scam. I block them regularly but they somehow still manage to get through. I started keeping them on the line and dropping the word 'trace' in conversation, that seems to have cut down the calls a bit. Be careful out there!
