I recently received an automated voicemail from this number about an order I apparently placed with Amazon. However, I can assure you, I haven’t ordered anything! Seems like a dodgy scam to me!

Received a pre-recorded message at the crack of dawn, about an Amazon order I never placed! I promptly hung up. Just a heads up to everyone, stay vigilant!

I received a recorded message stating, "We understand you were in an accident." It's best not to respond, as the moment they detect any voice, they'll classify your number as 'active' and continue to bombard you with calls. Just hang up and make sure to block that number!

I find that it tends to happen through Gumtree as well. Despite being on the Telephone Preference Service, it seems utterly pointless. I often consider lodging a complaint but, once more, it has no real impact. A lot of these firms appear to be based in India, fully aware that they can't be held accountable, yet they persist in making these calls.
