I received a call supposedly from HMRC, claiming that there was a fraudulent claim linked to my name. They urged me to press 1 to speak with my assigned case officer, warning of potential legal repercussions if I didn’t act. I’ve since blocked the number! It’s quite obvious that this isn’t a genuine HMRC line, especially since I’m not even in the tax system!

Got a call from someone saying they were from my insurance provider, said they wanted to review my policy. They even mentioned the name of my insurance firm, which made it sound legit. But I told them I was busy at work and would get in touch with the company personally later. Pretty sure it was a scam though.
