Got a pre-recorded message from TMR Marketing, said all their advisors were tied up and they’d ring me back later. If I wanted to speak sooner, I could call them back myself. I told her she was ringing a TPS number unlawfully, and she went on to say it should usually get picked up. I had a similar thing happen with a caller using the name LMG Consultants. When I picked up, there was just a recorded message mentioning them. To me, it seemed pretty shady. I'd recommend anyone getting calls like this to report it to Trading Standards or Consumer Direct. If all you get is a recorded voice, it usually means it's a careless, if not downright dodgy, marketing company.
