Got a call from 01992718969, a bloke saying he was with BT, warning me my internet was about to drop because of an issue with my IP address or something. I just ended the call straight away.

Had someone just ringing up pretending he was from BT, total muppet!

Got a call from some bloke pretending to be with BT, telling me my internet IP had been hacked and needed fixing ASAP. I told him if he was really from BT, he’d have my full name, address and postcode sorted. He tried giving me some details but they were all wrong, and then claimed I was that person! What a load of rubbish. As soon as I pointed out the errors, he just hung up on me. Proper scam.
