Reports on phone number 01992636400
2 yearsGot a call from some bloke, sounded Asian, trying to get my credit card or bank details. I told him I was recording the call and that I’d report him to the police. He started swearing at me and then just hung up. Definitely a dodgy scam, no doubt about it!2 years01992636400 called me claiming to be VISA with a recorded message about a suspicious charge. It said to press '1' to cancel the payment and speak to someone. The person on the line asked for my name and also wanted a sort code from my card, which I told him debit cards don't show. Despite that, he kept pushing for it. Then he asked how much money I had in my current account, so I gave him a random small figure. When he tried to get details about my savings, I explained you can't use a debit card for that, and suddenly he lost interest and ended the call.VISA2 yearsHonestly, that scammer was unbelievably hopeless.2 yearsYet another dodgy number! It called me for a split second and then abruptly hung up.2 yearsLooks like one of those scam calls, I reckon. Judging by what others have said, they're probably going through loads of numbers. It only rang once and then just stopped.Submit Your Own Report (01992 636400)
