I returned the call only to find it was supposedly from Herts County Council. However, they won’t accept inbound calls on the number they dialled from, and they simply hung up without providing an alternative contact number. To make matters worse, I don’t even reside in Hertfordshire, so it’s baffling why they would reach out to me in the first place. I’ve only had this number for a few weeks! I can't shake the feeling that it might be a scam. Sadly, I missed their initial call, otherwise, I might have been able to gather more details to share.
