Got a call earlier today but no voicemail was left. The newest trick seems to be from a group claiming to be the National Claims Advisory Group. They say they’ve recovered thousands of pounds for you and now want to hand over a cheque. They suggest you deposit it at your bank, then a few days after, a caller will show up asking for a £200 fee, insisting it’s got to be an Amazon voucher. Honestly, if someone rings you up offering a cheque out of the blue, just hang up straight away. It’s definitely a scam.

Received a call but no one said a word and then it just went silent.

Got a call from someone asking for my name and address, said it was about a claim I supposedly made (which I didn’t). Felt like they were really fishing for info about my account. I told them to send me any details by post instead.
