I've had a rather dodgy call from someone purporting to be from BT, warning me that my internet connection was about to be terminated. Absolute nonsense! For starters, I’m not even a BT customer. Clearly, these are just tricksters trying to pull a fast one. Definitely not the company I deal with!

Got a call from what looked like BT but it was actually some Indian scammers using a fake number. They played a recorded message telling me my computer was infected and tried to get me to install some remote access program. They wanted to take control of my PC and fool me into buying useless or free software, or worse, rip me off with some kind of refund scam. Definitely dodgy and not to be trusted.
