Got two calls in less than an hour from a number linked to BT in Lee Valley, but it’s a scam for sure. The automated lady with a fake American accent claimed I’d bought an iPhone 7 for £399 from Amazon, telling me to press 1 if I hadn’t ordered it. Other sites confirm this number’s been used for the classic BT scam today. Obviously, it’s a dodgy fraud setup that just popped up. Best advice: don’t answer or press any buttons; these bots usually cut off the call themselves. Just hang up straight away.
