This number is already on my spam list. I generally have BBC Radio 3 playing in the background, so I just put the phone close to the speakers and carry on with my stuff while the robotic voice goes on its usual spiel!

I got a call where no one said a word, I figured those are not allowed now.

Got a call from some guy called Danny, wasn’t sure at first but turned out to be one of those AI scam things. Be careful!

Called by 01992475724 at about 10:17 on 10th December 25. After a long silence, some lady called Alex started talking about a warm home survey, saying it wasn’t a sales call or anything. Then she asked if I owned my home or rented. I just ended the call straight away. Had similar calls before - they usually promise a “free” survey just to get you interested.

When I finally picked up, there was this really long silence before someone spoke. Pretty obvious it was either a call centre or some dodgy scammer.

I checked this number here after getting two calls I didn’t pick up, then I set my router to block it so the phone wouldn’t even ring. After that, the same number tried ringing me like seven times in under a minute! Sounds like some auto dialler scam to me, really dodgy stuff!

Today I got another call from someone called Alex at Hebros (I think) about insulation and energy stuff. I told him no again and ended the call. If he tries ringing me a third time, I probably won’t be as nice about it.

Got two calls in the space of 20 minutes, seemed like some sort of fake energy scam done by a robot or something.

I got a call on my home phone, which I usually just let go to voicemail, and when I did that this time there was nothing but silence before they ended the call. The number showed up with the Lea Valley area code, somewhere around Hertfordshire and parts of Essex. It’s a familiar code to me from when my mum was alive. Best not to pick up if you see that number like I did.

It was a recorded message pretending to be someone actually calling me. Totally spam, no way it was real.

I got a call from a man who started talking about heating systems for homes and asked if I owned the place. I just ended the call straight away.

The number popped up in red, saying it was a scam, so I just hung up and blocked it straight away.

Picked up the phone and it was clear it was a call centre. I said hello and expected a response, but they just cut off the call.

I chose to ignore this call. Honestly, I have no clue who it could be. Lately, it feels like the scam calls just keep piling up. 01992475724 might just be another one of them.
