I got a call from a bloke claiming he was with Virgin Media, telling me my internet wasn’t working right. Problem is, this is my work phone, and it’s got nothing to do with Virgin Media. Pretty sure it was just a scam.

Got a call on my home phone around midday from a bloke with an Asian accent, saying he was James from Virgin Media. He started talking but then the call suddenly dropped. The number showed an area code from Lea Valley (around the Herts / Essex border), which seemed strange since I don't think Virgin have any offices there. Bit fishy if you ask me.

So this mornin at about 8.40 a bloke rang me. I picked up and then passed it to my partner but the guy was askin for some “####”. When my partner had a giggle, he got really hostile. We just left the phone alone till he eventually called off. Proper rude bloke.

I got a call just after 8 in the morning. No one said a word and then the call just dropped. Seems like one of those automatic scam calls to me.

Been trying to get through but they seem really tied up this morning. I gave it a go about half an hour back but no one talked, the call just ended after a few seconds. Feels like scam calls are getting worse every single week these days.

Got a call from a woman who sounded like she was from India, saying she was from BT and that someone was using my internet without permission overnight. They actually knew my name, which freaked me out a bit. Thing is, BT isn't even our provider. Our Wi-Fi has a password anyway, but I’m still gonna change it just to be safe.

Just got a call from someone claiming to be from BT tech support, sounded really dodgy to me. They asked for access to my computer, which seemed fishy. Definitely a scam, watch out!

I just answered a call from this number. I said hello and there was silence for a bit, then some robotic woman said "good... bye" with a weird pause in between. I don't recognise this number and have no contacts in the Lea Valley area, so to me it looks like it could be dodgy. I'm staying cautious with it.
