Got a call from someone saying it was about government loft insulation funding. They didn’t even have our name right. Definitely seems like a scam to me.

Got a ring about loft insulation supposedly from the energy advice line. When I checked, the company had actually been dissolved back in 2018 according to companies house. Quite fishy if you ask me.

Got a ring from this number earlier, and the bloke on the line didn’t bother to say who he was or ask for anyone by name. He just jumped straight in and started talking about some insulation work in the loft. When I told him that wasn’t me, he just ended the call. He spoke pretty proper English, though. Later, I tried calling the number back from another phone I had, and it turned out the number wasn’t even valid. Seems like a dodgy scam trying to trick people who recently had work done, probably hoping to get their details from unsuspecting folks. Be careful!
