I received a rather concerning call from a woman named Kate, who reached out from this number to tell me that my internet security was under threat. She seemed to have quite a lot of personal information about me, including my full name and address, which was unsettling. Kate requested remote access to my computer, claiming she could resolve the issues. However, I had no intention of giving a total stranger that level of access to my device.

This number has called me three times now and each time there's complete silence when I pick up. Still no idea what they're after or why they're calling. It's really quite odd.

got a call from sylvia claiming my internet had been hacked. she even knew my name and postcode which was creepy. asked her to give me my bt account number, she rattled off a number but it definitely wasn’t mine. she kept saying that’s the right one. told her nope, this is a scam and hung up laughing. she threatened to report me or whatever. yeah right, as if.

Really irritating recruitment agency that just won't give up. If you share your present job info, they end up trying to twist things against you.
