Heads up - this was a total con! I got a message from a bloke’s recorded voice claiming to be from BT, warning me my broadband and phone were going to be disconnected. He said something like “Press 1 to chat with BT or press 2 to proceed with the disconnection.” I reckon if you press 1, you’d be linked to scammers trying to get remote access to your computer to “sort things out.” Tried ringing the number back later, but it just rang out with no answer. Definitely dodgy.
