you should try bt protection on 1572, its really good and no cost at all just switch it on, bt keeps updating their blacklist and you can add numbers whenever you get annoying calls - it actually does the job!

Got a call from this number claiming to be BT, saying my broadband and phone line were going to be cut off. Then it either just drops the call or some automated voice tells you to press 1. Don’t fall for it, it’s definitely a scam. I’d recommend blocking it straight away through BT.

Beware of this number-it’s a scam posing as BT. They like to impersonate the company with an automated voice warning that your landline and internet might be cut off. BT is already in the loop regarding this fraud. I've received three calls from this number just today! Best to steer clear of it entirely.
