I played along with this chap for quite some time, making a great show of tapping away at my keyboard so he could hear it. Honestly, I was well aware of his intentions. I answered every single one of his questions accurately, and I could tell he was getting rather giddy, thinking he was about to gain access to my computer. What a letdown it must have been for him when I told him exactly where to shove his nonsense! I hung up the phone, only to have him ring me back immediately, and, blimey, the language he used was utterly appalling. It’s hard to muster any sympathy for people like that, not in the slightest!

I received a call regarding my computer, and I assured him that everything was functioning perfectly. The chap, Sean, who had a noticeable Indian accent, seemed to doubt my word and asked if I was absolutely certain! Then, without another word, he just ended the call. Quite peculiar, really!

I’ve received my third call in just as many days now, and I must say, it’s been quite the entertaining experience stringing these fellows along! This particular conversation dragged on for a good 24 minutes before I lost interest in their so-called solutions for my computer woes. When I mentioned that my internet connection, which I use through my television, still wasn’t playing ball with their proposed link-up, it was the icing on the cake!

I reckon it’s high time that nuisance calls of this sort were put to rest by BT and the other telecom providers.

When I answered the call, there was silence on the other end. Curiosity got the better of me, so I checked with 1471, but the number was unrecognised!

What a tiresome bloke! He went off on a tirade, cursing and rambling about football - seemed like he was going on about either India or Indonesia. We didn’t even get a chance to mess around on my computer; he was peering over at my screen, and when he asked what I was looking at, I told him I was just about to sort out my hotel booking. It was all rather dull, to be honest.
