We got a call from this number claiming our internet bill was overdue and if we didn’t pay straight away, the service would be disconnected. They did mention the right internet provider, but we don’t owe them a penny. Not long ago, we spoke with the provider’s helpline in India to sort out some slow speeds. Seems like they might have passed on our details to dodgy people in Durham, which matches the area code of this caller. The voice on the phone sounded like someone foreign. I’m convinced it’s a scam.
