This was a scam call for sure. They told me someone made unauthorised transactions and wanted me to press certain numbers to get through. Definitely dodgy.

Got a message from someone called Ella Surtees at Reid Recruitment asking if I wanted info about a job. Never even signed up with them though. Then she sent another one the next day asking for a reply. Decided to just ignore it and blocked the number since it seemed dodgy and probably a scam.

Absolutely ridiculous. Some proper scammy people calling me, pretending to check on my life insurance. When I asked which firm they were with, they just threw out a bunch of different names. Then, when I asked again for the real company, the lovely person on the line basically asked if I was thick or couldn't hear properly! Honestly, I’m neither, but they’re definitely blocked from my phone now.

Some woman rang up claiming she worked for Vodafone and that it was my phone company. Problem is, I’m not even with Vodafone and I’m certain they know that too. I told her she was trying to scam me and suggested she might want to pick a job that’s a bit more honest.

So, I got a call from someone saying they were from O2, my mobile network, offering me a huge 40% cut on my bills. They said everything else would stay the same, just cheaper. Then they sent me a text with some security code asking me to reply to access my O2 account. That’s when I ended the call straight away, and thankfully, they never rang back again. It smelled like a pretty clever scam to me.

Without a doubt, this is a scam call. I’m not affiliated with Vodafone in any way; it baffles me why they’d ring me up with a supposed 40% discount on a contract renewal! Seems rather dodgy, don’t you think?

I got a call from a guy with a really thick Indian accent claiming he was ringing on behalf of Vodafone. He wanted to know how much I’m paying for my phone contract. I told him, if he actually worked for Vodafone, he’d already have that info. I could barely catch what he was saying at all. I just told him I’m happy with my current Vodafone plan and suggested it might be best if he just hung up. He muttered something, then cut the call.
