i got a call from someone with a thick central europe accent, said she was julia from bt. claimed there was an issue with our internet but we dont even have bt, plus we're from cambridge so a bit sus really.

Got a call from someone who spoke really bad English, said they were from BT and wanted to discuss my internet. Definitely steer clear of this one.

just like others have said before, this isn’t anything to do with bt - don’t bother doing what they say. your internet and gadgets are fine, nothing wrong with them at all.

Got a call early on a Saturday, about 7:22, some bloke saying he was from B.T. Quite annoying, tbh.

Got a call early this morning, about 7.20am, from someone with an Asian accent saying they were with BT. It was clear straight away it was a scam. The last couple of days I've been getting these annoying calls quite a bit. Let’s just say they got a bit of a telling off from me, not always very nicely either.

Some bloke claiming to be from BT rang me, saying my computer was getting hacked. Since I’m not even a BT customer, I told him straight up he was a dodgy scammer. He didn’t hang around much after that and just got off the phone!

Got a call claiming to be from BT, sounded like a total scam tho. They hung up halfway through what they were saying. Weird experience!

There was about a thirty second pause before the caller picked up - usually means trouble. A man with an Asian accent said he was from BT and that my internet had been down for two weeks. My internet works perfectly and I’ve never had any messages from BT or any other provider about issues. Felt like a scam straight away, so I didn’t bother talking to find out what they wanted. The call came around 8:30 in the morning just as I was about to head out, quite irritating.
