I’ve had a call like this twice now, though I can’t remember if it was from the same number both times. It kicks off with a recorded voice claiming it’s from BT, warning me my phone line will be cut off soon, and asks me to press 1 if I want assistance. When I pressed 1, I got connected to someone who said they were from BT’s helpdesk, but as soon as I tried to explain my situation, the call just dropped. Absolutely frustrating!
