Got a call claiming to be from Amazon about a £799 payment that supposedly went through. They actually used my name, but I didn’t give them any info. I asked if they really had my personal details ‘cause they kept trying to get me to share them. What’s weird is the number showed up as being from the Isle of Wight, which isn’t too far from where I live. Bit unsettling, to be honest.

Got a recorded call claiming to be from my bank's security team, so I hung up straight away. Then I tried ringing back but dialled with 141 first, and a woman answered. Again, I just put the phone down. The number looks legit, from the Isle of Wight area, a regular landline, but it's still fishy - not one of the usual scam numbers I know. Why isn’t BT cracking down on this? Yesterday I had two calls, different numbers, both pretending to be from “Amazon”. Really annoying!
