I received a rather alarming call from a gentleman with an Asian accent who claimed I owed Amazon a hefty sum of around £700. When I inquired, rather coolly, about his identity and the context of his message, he erupted in anger, hurling insults at me, calling me a "stupid English igit" and rudely suggesting I should "go and die." Quite taken aback, I advised him to seek legitimate employment, after which he abruptly hung up. Quite the experience, I must say!
