This number called me once, but all I got when I picked up was just a dialling tone, nothing else.

got a call early this morning, my second one now from a dodgy number, similar but not quite the same as 01983882542. a recorded message with a woman speaking in a posh english accent claiming to be from bank security about some suspicious spending - she named two amounts and recipients. then it pressed me to hit 1 if I didn’t make those payments. no mention of which bank or my name or any real info, so obviously just another scam trying to trick people out of cash.
