Got a robo call saying there’s been 2 transactions on my account. One was £120 from Amazon and another for £1000 transfer. The message said to press 1 if these withdrawals were legit and press 2 to talk to their fraud team if they weren’t. Seemed fishy to me.

So I got a call from someone saying they were from my bank, telling me to press one if I wanted to approve a payment of £1000 on my card. Definitely felt sketchy to me.

Someone called pretending to be from my bank, asking if I’d made a £1000 purchase on my card. I definitely didn’t give them any permission for that!
