Got a call on the 12th of May, 2023. They never bothered to introduce themselves. The person said that my card was used for buying stuff on Amazon and even sending money overseas. They told me to press 1 if I wanted to cancel it or 2 if I wanted to talk to customer service.

Got a call from a number I don’t recognise, but as soon as my answerphone picked up, they just hung up. I'm on the TPS list, so clearly they're ignoring that - but honestly, TPS seems to be pretty useless at stopping these sorts of calls.

They said it was something about bank security.

I got a robocall supposedly from some bank’s security team, but they never said which bank it was. The message said I’d supposedly paid £300 to Amazon and sent £1000 abroad, both totally false. They also mentioned worries about security since I hadn’t made these sorts of transactions before, which was actually true. Definitely a nasty scam trying to trick you into handing over your bank info so they could empty your account. I ignored the prompts to press any numbers to talk to someone and hung up straight away.

I got a call from someone claiming to be my bank, telling me money was taken out to pay Amazon. Definitely felt like a scam to me!
