Utterly fraudulent and rather alarming! An individual claimed to be representing my bank but didn't even bother to mention which institution they were affiliated with. They insisted they were looking into some dubious transactions linked to my bank account.

I got a call from some automated system claiming to be Visa security. It told me there'd been a couple of charges on my card and asked me to press 1 to confirm if they were legit. I obviously didn’t press anything and just ended the call.

I’ve already told my bank about this, quite risky especially for people who are vulnerable.

I got a robocall from someone saying they were from my bank, but they never mentioned which one. The message said there were several odd transactions on my account and asked me to press ‘1’ for more info. It felt dodgy, so I didn’t press anything. Later, I rang my bank myself and they confirmed everything was normal and they hadn’t called me at all. Definitely a scam attempt!
