7 yearsOver the past couple of days, I’ve had this dodgy call come through three times, claiming to be from Amazon Prime. Honestly, don’t be fooled by it. They say something about charging £39.99 (never specifying the currency) to my bank account for the Prime membership, and then tell me to press ‘1’ to talk to an account manager. I’m pretty sure the truth is that if you press ‘1’, it puts you through to some premium rate number that costs a fortune each minute. Luckily, I didn’t press anything so I can’t be certain, but it definitely seems suspicious.7 yearsGot a few calls from someone saying they were with Amazon. Total con!
