Got a call from 01983 644649, definitely one of those dodgy chancers. A person with an Indian accent rang me out of the blue saying they were from Virgin Media. They tried to get me to unplug my internet router to fix some supposed slow connection. Once I told them I’m not even a Virgin customer, they just ended the call. I reckon if I’d played along, they’d have had me reconnect it and done some sneaky scam to take my money. Honestly, they must think people are proper mugs.
