Received a missed call from this number and, curious as ever, I decided to search the area code, which turned out to belong to the Isle of Wight. I then attempted to return the call, but alas, there was no answer. I have a sneaking suspicion that it might be a scam, given that I don't have any acquaintances in that locality.

On the 21st of December 2020, I got a call from 01983 629626 but no one spoke when I answered, they just hung up straight away. It felt a bit like the other calls I've had from this number. This is the third Monday in a row I've had a call at about the same time from them. They say I owe money and warned me that their legal team will contact me if I don't pay up!
