12 yearsI've received three calls now, each time addressing me by an incorrect version of my maiden name. These so-called 'mortgage advisors' keep bombarding me with questions like the value of my home, the outstanding mortgage balance, and if I'm interested in switching my mortgage type. I’ve made it clear that I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service and requested they stop calling, to which they assured me my number would be taken off their list. But lo and behold, they rang me again the very next day! This time, I decided enough was enough and gave my sports whistle a good blow down the phone! I received a recorded message in a foreign accent, insisting my call was of utmost importance and asking me to hold for the next available representative.
