Got a call from the 01983 Isle of Wight number, but no voicemail was left - just dead silence. Heard on Isle of Wight radio they’ve been warning about scammers pretending to be local with that area code, but they’re not really from the island.

Just got a ring from a number saying they were with BT. Problem is, I stopped using BT about 40 years ago, so I’m pretty sure it’s just a dodgy call trying to scam me. The number that showed up was 01983613264. Definitely not falling for that!
