I feel it's only fair to alert everyone that there aren’t any phone numbers on the Isle of Wight that start with 25xxxx (the last six digits, don’t you know). This character had the audacity to claim I’d somehow withdrawn £1000 through two bank transactions, and as if that wasn't enough, they threw in another £3000 to some overseas person! Honestly, I don’t even have that sort of cash in my account! So, being a sprightly 90 years young, I decided to delve into my B.T. phone account and took the necessary steps to block this number right away. I reckon that was the wisest choice for my peace of mind. If anyone else encounters this phoney call, I wholeheartedly recommend taking similar precautions!Isle of WightB.
