This was clearly a scam. I’d suggest reporting it to the police. Just search for ‘action fraud’ on Google and head to the UK police website. Then find the phishing section and scroll all the way down, there’s a quick form you can fill out to report it.

Don’t bother just blocking the calls, it won't stop them. They have loads of fake UK numbers they just keep switching too. Best thing is to report any dodgy calls to Action Fraud. Their details are below.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent, talking rubbish about some problem with "my computer." She kept insisting I check my screen out. (Obviously, I sussed it was a con.) Then she asked me about the key on the bottom left of my keyboard. I was suspicious and asked what it was for, she then wanted the next key over. I told her straight up it was a scam. She lost it, got really mad, called me stupid, and slammed the phone down on me. What a nightmare!

Definitely not from the Isle of Wight, thats clear. The number was just created a couple days ago but has been ringing loads. This time I decided to answer since I was waiting on a call. I could hear a call centre noise in the back, and a woman with an Asian accent said "hello" thrice. I didn’t respond and she just ended the call. Looking it up afterwards, it was exactly the scam I figured it would be. Authorities really need to step in and stop these crooks from taking advantage of people who are easy targets.

Dont trust any unexpected calls sayin theyre from Microsoft, they dont make cold calls like that. I got a ring but no voicemail, which made me think it was nothing serious.
