I've been getting loads of calls for the past week, sometimes a couple a day, from someone claiming to be Amazon. They keep telling me my subscription is up for renewal much sooner than it actually is, and they quote a price way less than what I usually pay. Honestly, it sounds fishy to me, so I just hang up straight away every time. Definitely seems like a scam.
