I had an encounter with some folks hawking energy deals. After they’d given me their whole sales pitch, I decided to have a bit of fun and kept them on the line for a solid four minutes by claiming I needed to pop to the loo. To my absolute astonishment, they actually stayed on the line! Then, for a good laugh, I spun a yarn about having constructed a wind farm down in my garden, and that it’s powered by my cows’ methane-so much so that I have a surplus of electricity. I cheekily asked if they fancied buying some off me, but funnily enough, they hung up quite rudely!
