I got a call with an automated lady's voice, supposedly from MasterCard, saying that £600 had been moved out of my account to an overseas one just in the past ten minutes. It told me to press 1 if I hadn’t done this. I didn’t press anything, just hung up straight away and logged into my online banking to check. No money had gone anywhere. Figured it was a scam attempt, so I thought I’d share it here since it seems like these kinds of calls are making the rounds again.
