So I asked them where exactly they were calling from, and told them my number’s on the TPS list, so they really shouldn’t be ringing me with cold calls. Most of the time, they just hang up after that!

I get calls like this pretty much every month, sometimes even more often. I've told them plenty of times that I'm on the TPS register and they're not allowed to call, asking them to remove me, but it never seems to work. These days, I just note down the number and report it straight to TPS without picking up. That said, occasionally when I’ve got some free time, I find it quite funny to mess with the callers a bit.

Total scam. Got a voicemail from a woman’s voice saying something like, ‘I understand you were involved in a car crash that wasn’t your blame, is that correct?’ Very dodgy if you ask me.
