Some lady called claiming to be from Three, saying they could give me a 40% discount or cheaper deal or something along those lines. She asked if I was interested and I said I needed more info before agreeing. Then the call just dropped. I tried ringing back like 7 times but the call kept cutting off or getting cancelled. Now I'm a bit uneasy, worried they might try to scam me since I said yes when I really was just asking for more details first.

Got a call trying to sell me an upgrade to the new iPhone 15 with 30% off, which sounded a bit dodgy since I’m actually with O2 now. Funny thing is, my number originally came from Vodafone but I’ve switched providers a few times since. Seems like these scammers are doing their homework to check where numbers originally came from just to make their stories sound more legit. Definitely a bit clever on their part, but still easy to see through.

Seems like a phishing attempt to me. They wanted me to switch my O2 password to ‘password1’ after sending a fake password reset email and then claimed I was typing in some kind of ‘promo code’. I've blocked this nuisance’s numbers a few times already, told him flat out I’m not falling for his tricks, and to quit bothering my missus. I guess the issue is I don’t just cut the call instantly - I prefer wasting their time a bit, which probably gives them false hope and makes them keep trying. Better my time’s wasted than someone else getting scammed.
