I missed the call so I couldn’t pick up, but when I checked the number online, it flagged as a phone scam. Usually, if it’s someone serious, they’d leave a voicemail asking you to call back. Scammers almost never do that, they just hang up straight away and it feels dodgy. That’s how you can spot ’em - they’re not as smart as they reckon!

Got three calls on my phone in just two minutes, from 01980774308 at 14:14, then 02897204065 at 14:15, and lastly 02033190743 at 14:16. Every time one number popped up, I deleted it but the next one rang straight away. Looked them up and every single one came up as a likely scam. Tried blocking them but it doesn't help, as similar numbers keep calling constantly. It's really annoying and just a pain to deal with.

First there was dead silence then I heard the typical call centre noise. Some bloke named Pete, who struggled with his English, asked me "how I was today". I shot back with "Do you even know my name?". He quickly cut the call and I blocked the number straight away. If I’m ever bored, I reckon I’ll keep them on the line for ages until they think they’ve got someone hooked, then I’ll hang up and block them before they can try again.
