8 monthsTypical hassle really... was asked "Is this the man of the house?" I shot back, "Well, there's a man in the house, yes." Then they switched to "Are you the house owner?" I said "I am," and then they just ended the call. Feels like some odd little routine you gotta keep track of to get through. Plus, there was that slight hold on the line, so I’m guessing it’s a call centre somewhere in India - the accent sounded a bit Mumbai-ish to me.India8 monthsI didn’t pick up, which was probably a good thing since from what I’ve seen online, these calls usually come from overseas and are pretty annoying! It was about 6pm, so likely not local even though my phone showed Salisbury!Salisbury8 monthsPicked up the phone, heard nothing and then the call just hung up. So frustrating!8 monthsMy answerphone kicked in and there was some bloke just repeating “Hello” over and over. I reckon their autodialer caught the sound from the TV that’s just beside the phone - they were probably trying to get through to the game show “Pointless.” You could hear loads of talking in an Indian accent in the background too. I’m pretty sure it was a dodgy scam call.Submit Your Own Report (01980 682072)
