I answered but stayed quiet, then the call ended pretty fast. Seems like it was a scam to me.

Some guy was pretty harsh on the phone, saying I had to get some sort of medical gadget.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent, sounded like she was working in some call centre. She tried to pitch me a better offer on kitchen gadgets or something. But as soon as I asked a few questions, she just cut the call. Quite dodgy if you ask me.

I called the number but it just went straight to voicemail with no message saved. Then I tried ringing it again, and all I got was a constant dialling tone.

No answer, just dead silence on the line - smells like one of those dodgy scam call centres to me.

This number keeps calling even though they’re clearly not following the TPS rules.

I got a call on my home phone saying they wanted to send me a personal alarm as my current one was supposedly about to stop working soon. Thing is, I’ve never owned anything like that before. It sounded fishy from the start, so I just told them goodbye and hung up straight away. Definitely felt like a scam to me!

Didn't leave any message which seemed a bit dodgy to me.

They're back at it again. I answered but there was no sound, so I just ended the call and blocked the number. It's so frustrating, especially since I'm signed up with the TPS, but they still seem to get around it somehow. I've flagged the number as risky because of what others have said before.

Some bloke called claiming he was from the health service. When I asked for more details, he just snapped that it was none of my business. Proper rude, that one.

Just like a bunch of other people have said, I got a call from someone claiming to be 'medical appliance services'. The guy had an Indian or Asian accent, pretty standard for these calls. I actually have local contacts for this kinda stuff, but he kept going on about things I’m already familiar with. It felt fishy straight away and now hearing others’ stories, I’m convinced it’s a scam and this number is dodgy.

Not a word, complete quiet on the other end.

So, this lady rings up asking for Mrs B... (that’s me), and I say, "Who’s this and what’s it about?" She goes on about some emergency gadget I’m meant to get. I just said, "No thanks," and she just cuts off straight away. Feels like one of those dodgy calls trying to scam or maybe grab personal info, I dunno. Either way, I’m not bothered until they fix all the nonsense with Internet phone services!

Got a call from this 'Asian guy' trying to push some medical health scam. I picked up, and the moment he mentioned anything about health stuff, I hit the block right away.

When I picked up the phone, there was nothing but dead air-felt like no one was on the other end. I ended the call right away. This marks the second time this week I’ve experienced the same eerie silence.

I received a call where the person on the other end wanted me to verify my identity. I responded by inquiring who was making the call, but they just reiterated their request. I repeated my question about their identity, and then, without any warning, they terminated the call.

My landline just got a call from this number, but when I answered there was nothing but silence before they suddenly dropped the call. I checked the caller ID with 1471, jotted down the digits and looked up the number on here. Definitely going to label it as risky.

Somebody rang me up saying I qualified for a personal alarm, but I said I didn’t want one. After that, he snapped at me, calling me a “stupid cow” and told me to go back to sleep!

As soon as the automated security message started, the person on the line just ended the call.

Couldn't hear anything, probably one of those scams.

He wanted me to say who I was first. I flipped it and asked him who he was instead. He just repeated his question, so I asked again who he was. Then he just ended the call.

A woman called me, pushing a medical alert pendant hard. When I told her I wasn’t interested, she kept going on and on, basically arguing about who said I didn’t need one. It felt like a total waste of time.

They rang my 96 year old grandma a few times, asking how old she was and then told her she was eligible for some kind of emergency pendant that could detect falls no matter where she was in the world! When she mentioned she already owned one, they pushed for her bank information, claiming it was needed to end her old contract and arrange a new direct debit. Once she said I handled all her money, they started having a go at her for not managing her finances herself. Clearly a scam, targeting elderly people like her.

Got a call earlier from this number, and the bloke called Jorden was telling me I'd get a free medical alarm to wear around my neck. When I cheekily asked how old he reckoned I was, he just said "Senior Citizen." I thought that was a bit off, so I told him it was rude to just guess like that. Then he went and told me to check my mirror at home to see how old I actually looked! I couldn't believe it. I ended up swearing and hanging up. Definitely feels like a scam to me.

Got a call about a Medical Alert Necklace, they said I qualify and asked why I'd want one. When I asked, they just said "because of your age." Told them no thanks and ended the call. Total SCAM.

Have had calls from an Indian call centre for years now, always looking for a Mrs Dennis - definitely not someone I know. They keep coming up with different scams, but it’s always the same name they want. You can hear loads of people chatting away in the background too. So annoying!

I look after an elderly lady who’s quite vulnerable. Somebody rang claiming she qualified for a little emergency alarm she could wear on a chain round her neck in case anything happened. Then they tried to get her bank info. Thankfully, she was wise enough to tell them where to shove it!

Absolutely nobody picked up when I called.

I usually just ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise. More often than not, it’s just some telemarketer or a scam, so best to not pick up at all.

Got a call about some medical alert device. When I refused to give out my birth date, the caller got really annoyed, saying he should already have that info. He then accused me of messing around with his words and just ended the call. Total scam, in my opinion.
