8 yearsA chap with a rather unusual accent rang me up from this number, introducing himself as Daniel Smith and claiming to represent Inland Claim Services. He mentioned that he was calling "on behalf of the government" regarding my PPI claim, which he said had been approved. When I probed for further details, he vaguely referenced a loan or credit card from my past. I asked him to specify which loan or credit card he was talking about, but he merely repeated that my claim was accepted and he needed to confirm my identity. The thing is, I haven't submitted any PPI claims recently - I have done so in the past, but those have all been sorted. So, it's quite clear that this is a scam.Daniel SmithInland Claim Services8 yearsI received a dodgy phone call regarding mis-sold PPI.8 yearsGot a call on this number talking about a successful pip claim, but I’ve never filed one. They told me I was eligible for a PPI payout but warned that I'd get charged 40% in bank fees unless I signed up for a life insurance policy for a few months. They said I could cancel once the money came through. It’s mad how they even know what you're supposed to get without having any of your bank or loan info.
