I've been inundated with annoying calls from this number! It's getting quite tiresome.

I received a call from someone urging me to carry out certain steps, claiming that my BT broadband (IP) had been hacked. However, there are a couple of matters that don't add up. For one, he addressed me as Thomas, which is decidedly not my name. Plus, I don’t even have an account with BT!

Someone rang asking for Thomas. I told them no one here goes by that name, but they insisted I was wrong and just hung up on me.

Got a call around 2 in the afternoon from some bloke with an Asian accent claiming he was from BT. He kept telling me to do stuff, but I was pretty sure it was dodgy since I don’t even have BT. Definitely felt like a scam to me.
