Got a call from someone claiming to be from welfare rights WBC. Seemed legit at first but I wasn’t sure if it was for real. Anyone else been contacted by them?

For me, it was Wrexham NHS, specifically the Speech and Language therapy department. The phone number they used turned out to be fake. I reckon they're not even aware of it. Most of the time, they hide their caller ID, probably to keep things private.

I keep getting calls from these jokers at all sorts of times, but they never bother to leave a voicemail. I tried ringing the number back that I found, but surprise, surprise - I’m told it’s a non-existent number. We live in an area where cold calls are meant to be restricted, so I feel pretty much powerless here.
