They called me for some survey thing, but I wasn't bothered at all. Got really irritating, so I just blocked the number.

Got a call about a survey, seemed dodgy to me. The woman spoke about a national poll on energy costs, but I cut her off asking how she got my number. She claimed it was from some “telephone preferential service” - yeah, right! I finished the chat by telling her to “leave me be and quit bothering me,” which I reckon was fairly civil given the situation. Afterwards, I just blocked the number.

I picked up but it just dropped the call, like those dodgy call centres that ring you out of the blue and then hang up.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the housing association or something like that... but I'm not on the Council here. The moment she said who she was with, my finger accidentally hit hang up and before I knew it I was blocking and reporting the number. Bet they'll be back soon with a different phone number. These lot will always try any trick in the book!
