I've been getting calls from a mysterious number that just keeps ringing me non-stop.

They claimed to be ringing up from BT Openreach to enhance my internet speed. The catch is, I'm not even a BT customer! Quite the dilemma, eh? It really sounds like this chap with the foreign accent is just trying to pull a fast one!

I’ve had a few calls from that number! Some bloke with a funny accent saying my internet was about to go offline in a couple hours! Even couldn’t say my actual internet provider right, what a muppet! I told him to jog on and remove me from their list. After getting bombarded by loads of firms and whatnot, I figured I don’t owe any of them politeness. If they’re not up for a bit of straight talk, simple as that - don’t ring my landline again! Sorted!

My landline rang from this number earlier today but as soon as I picked up, the caller hung up right away. I tried calling back - which maybe wasn't the best idea - and all I got was a message saying the number’s been disconnected.

Got a bloke on the phone sayin' he was from BT Openreach, asked if he could get into my router. Smelled fishy to me so I told him to ring back another time. Gonna give BT a shout to see if it was legit or not.
