I answered the phone and immediately heard a recorded message claiming to be from the fraud team of my Visa or Mastercard. It said there was a suspicious charge of £600 made abroad just 15 minutes ago, and I had to press 1 to continue the call. I hung up and dialled the same number from my mobile, but got an automated response saying the number wasn’t valid. Seems like a scam to me.
